If you work with pregnant couples or new parents, then this is for you.
Do you work with pregnant couples or new parents and babies, and see the real need for them (and you!) to stress less, cope better and feel calmer?
Perhaps you struggled with the challenges in becoming and being a parent and saw the gap in support for so many who need a little more TLC, coping skills and signposting.
Raise your hand if you’ve seen clients anxious about bringing a baby into their arms, or so tired they dread nighttimes. At a loss because they are shouting and tearful and resenting their life as a parent - or worse, resenting their partner or baby?
We have all experienced the tiredness brought on by new-baby sleepless nights, but that doesn’t need to lead to feeling out of control, reactive and feeling like you’re failing.
The grief and disappointment when we compare what we thought parenting “should be” to what it’s actually like is real. And it can lead to negative thoughts spiraling and tensions rising.
How equipped do you feel to help yourself when this happens? And what about the people that come to your classes?
I created the Beyond Birth Sessions and the Beyond Birth Guide to help practitioners like you support parental mental health by bringing in simple, effective and enjoyable practices into daily life.
“Attending the Beyond Birth Groups has been such a positive experience. It has helped me with those stressful, sleep deprived parenting moments and given me tools to respond instead of react. It’s a journey in self-development. I always leave feeling empowered and that it’s ok to just be how I need to be that day”.

“I have just finished my online Beyond Birth training and I was blown away by the content. I can’t wait to start running sessions and have found such value in the training”

Becoming and being a parent is a stressful, vulnerable and transformative experience for everyone. Yet most of us are not equipped with ways to manage the challenges and overwhelm that comes with the role of being a parent.
Join our Collective and enhance the great parent-baby business you already have, learning to deepen relationships with yourself, your family and your clients whilst practicing what you preach to manage any stress, anxieties and cope better..
I am looking for people who want a life and business with emotional wellbeing at the core.
Nurture & Continuity of connection is at the heart of what we do.
Anyone working with parents in pregnancy, birth and parenthood should consider bringing mental wellbeing practices into their life and work as non-negotiable; we owe it to our clients to guide them to help themselves with their mental and emotional wellbeing at such an uncertain, transitional time in their lives. And in the stressed-out world we live in.
According to the mental health foundation report in 2018, 74% of us are so stressed we feel we are not coping. In another report by The Princes Foundation, just 10% of people are considering their mental health when preparing for a baby, and yet we are seeing mental ill health in the perinatal period on the rise and not enough support for them with long waiting lists to access…
Even if you’re super busy, you can learn over a few weeks and you’ll have access to everything you need to begin at once. You can do things at your own pace and can start running groups as soon as you want to. The Collective Community is very supportive and there are 3 x monthly Nurture, Accountability and Reflection Sessions to keep you on track and connected to others training alongside you including those who are established practitioners already running the Before/Beyond Birth Mindful Early Parenting sessions.

“I really think and feel the training and guide is such an amazing resource for parents to start with their own self-care, which will give them the tools they will need as they face the many challenges of parenting.”

With this training you’ll be able to ...
I can help you achieve all this and more!
Now is the time to follow your passion and that desire to do more for the parents and babies you help.
Included is:
You can take as long as you need. It’s taught by me over 14 hours of live video presentations and you will need to take time to go back over the course content and practice each group session, which means you can be teaching in a very short time. You have 12 months access to the course materials so you can take your time.
The main training is 14+ hours of study and then I suggest spending another 10 - 20 hours to familiarise yourself with the content and lesson plans. You will need to add in time to create your marketing materials, update your website with the Beyond Birth information and host a few trial sessions.
Absolutely not. Everything is covered and more. I have been teaching groups and 1:1’s online for several years now and create materials all the time. 100% of my clients when asked said my courses overdeliver on value and exceeded their expectations. If you need additional mentoring, we can discuss this and arrange a day and time to suit you, for an additional discounted fee.
No, but it can help if you have experience in hosting group pre or post natal classes, or working with groups, teaching, coaching or 1:1 support. However, if you are keen to help your community by running these groups, you can do the training and book an extra 1:1 session with me to get you feeling confident.
Yes, however, this is written for both/all parents and I encourage you to reach out to Dad’s and Partners as much as possible to get involved.
There is no minimum. I suggest a maximum number of 10. It’s best to keep these sessions smaller to go through the exercises more personally, and keep distractions and noise levels down as much as possible. However, we don’t want to exclude people for any reason, so it’s up to you.
The guide is available online via the website and Amazon and £1 is donated to Pandas Foundation.
You will be given training in how to manage these situations. Remember, this is NOT therapy. It's light and feel good!
At first, it’s advisable to do this, and each of the 6 sessions is mapped out for you. However, you may feel you can introduce the content into your other classes and this is absolutely fine to do, as long as people know it’s Beyond Birth content (it’s still my intellectual property and copy-written).
Yes of course
Absolutely. The online sessions have their pros and cons just as the local in-person groups do. Mindfulness and relaxation works particularly well online.
From birth to around 10 - 12 months. However, some people run groups or 1:1's for parents with older babies and children too.
You will get a certificate which will enable you to practice as a professional Beyond Birth Mental Wellbeing Practitioner and hold groups or 1:1 in person or online sessions.
I recommend that if you have a pregnant group, you wait until after they have their babies and don’t mix pregnant and new parents together. The guide is great to start in pregnancy though.I am working on an antenatal version of the course for your to offer - coming soon!
Definitely. You and your clients will benefit from running these groups either at the same time, or following.
We recommend that in-person groups are charged at around £50 for 6 sessions, and online groups around £40 for 6 sessions. However, if your outgoings are high, for instance, venue hire and travel, then you can of course charge more to compensate.
Yes, but I ask that you use the Beyond Birth logo and branding with the Group content alongside your logo.
This is an investment in yourself as well as your business and the people you will support in your parenting community. You will reap the rewards more than words can say. x
Certified Training & 20 CPD Points.
Self paced, with accountability and reflection for your self development and your clients emotional wellbeing. A great start for everyone.
What you get:
This is incredible value for money. It's priceless and life changing!
Saving yourself a considerable amount in bonus extras and coaching.
It's easy to secure your place and get started:
Because like you, I am passionate, on a mission and work so hard to make sure that all my clients are happy and have all they need. If you train with me, I will be your teacher and mentor and I take that seriously (which means working long hours and late nights sometimes!). I have got your back…
When I had my first baby, I made the jump from a career in feature film production after studying and training on and off over 16 years, to become The Mamma Coach. Do I have any regrets? Absolutely none! My testimonials speak for themselves. I put all I have into my work.
I expect you are here because we share a similar outlook on life, parenthood and parenting. As you may already know, running your own family friendly flexible business enables you to be with who you love and doing what you love. Time and experience are so precious. It’s time to enhance what you already offer to help parents in a fuller, more balanced way that you know will make a fundamental difference for them, their children and you.
Fifteen years of working in person and online means that I know exactly what you need to feel confident when studying to become a teacher and coach. I have also taken extensive Higher Education training in many subjects such as Hypno-CBT and Mindfulness, Infant Massage, Birth Trauma, Aromatherapy, Holistic massage and Reiki. Beyond Birth draws from all my training and experiences and I know how to help parents and babies enjoy classes through creating great resources, learning activities, after course support and even little things like aromatherapy blends and take-home relaxation audios. It all helps to create a nurturing experience where parents and babies feel connected, valued, celebrated and nurtured.
Are a unique blend of mindfulness, self-hypnosis, coaching and informative talks aimed to educate, connect and ground parents to build resilience, confidence and calm.
Are designed to help all parents find some mindful time for themselves - with baby, to maintain their mental wellbeing during the transitional period of the first year after birth.
Are not just for parents who may be struggling but for everyone going from pregnancy through the first year with baby.
Are not classes as such, more structured support groups, with a theme and format each week. There are 6 weekly sessions recommended but they can go from pregnancy (antenatally) through to the end of the first year with baby and we recommend parents come to as many as they can to benefit from creating new habits and deeper connections - continuity of connection is at the heart of what we do.
